Lisa Sanders, M.D. is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine and a clinician educator in Yale's Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency program. She writes the popular "Diagnosis" column which appears monthly in The New York Times Magazine. The hit Fox television show "House M.D." was inspired by her column and she serves as a technical advisor for the show. Her new book, titled "Diagnosis: Dispatches from the Frontlines of Medical Mysteries," is to be published by Broadway Books in April, 2009. Dr. Sanders' research and practice focus on the treatment of overweight and obese patients. She is the author of The Perfect Fit Diet: How to Lose Weight, Keep it Off And Still Eat the Foods You Love. Before entering medical school, Sanders was an Emmy Award-winning producer at CBS News, where she covered medicine and health. Dr. Sanders lives in New Haven, Connecticut with her husband and two children.

Joanne DeVito is a certified Kripalu teacher who has been teaching for 13 years. Her teaching draws from various styles of yoga. C. Neill Epperson, M.D. is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and the Director of the Yale Program for Women's Reproductive Behavioral Health. Dr. Epperson's research focusing on the impact of hormones on brain function and behavior in women has been funded by the National Institute for Mental Health, the National Institute of Drug Addiction, the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression, the Dana Foundation and The Ethel F. Donoghue Foundation. Dr. Epperson and her clinical team are also available for clinical consultations regarding reproductive issues as they relate to mental health and well-being.
Clare Flannery, M.D. is finishing her medicine specialty training in Endocrinology at Yale University. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Trinity College, Dublin School of Medicine. During residency in Internal Medicine at the Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she did additional training in Women's Health. Her interests include Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Her research involves how diabetes develops in the elderly, as well as how reproductive organs are affected by insulin resistance.
Lisa Freed, M.D., FACC received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed her residency training at Cornell Medical Center. She completed cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Currently, Dr. Freed is a partner at Cardiology Associates of New Haven with offices in New Haven, Orange, Hamden, and Guilford. She is also co-director of the Women's Heart Advantage Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Her research interests include mitral valve prolapse and Women and Heart Disease. Suzanne Hanley has been a player of Tai Chi since 1994 and a teacher since 1996. She is a grandmother, watercolor artist and gardener. Maura Harrigan MS, RD is a Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of experience. Her training includes a nutrition Internship at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Her clinical practice began at Payne Whitney Psychiatric Hospital. She then served as Chief Clinical Dietitian at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in Greenwich Village, NYC where Maura helped develop the first dedicated AIDS unit in the country. After moving to Connecticut, Maura took on her most important job as Mom to her daughters, Gabriela and Ana. In addition to a private practice, Maura currently counsels at the Survivorship Clinic at Yale Cancer Center. Maura dedicates her work to the memory of her sister, Beth.

Nina Horowitz, M.D. received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and did her surgical training at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has been practicing general surgery in New Haven for 24 years and has a special interest in breast diseases and breast cancer. Dr. Horowitz is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Yale University School of Medicine and she has served as the Breast Cancer Spokesperson and Medical Advisor to the CT Reach to Recovery program for the American Cancer Society. Karl L. Insogna M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut. He joined the faculty at Yale in 1984 and is currently a Professor in Medicine in the Department of Internal there. He is the Director of the Yale Bone Center, an integrated multispecialty clinical service that provides care to patients with osteoporosis and other metabolic skeletal disorders. He is also the director of the NIH-funded Yale Core Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders. Dr. Insogna is an internationally recognized expert in the field of metabolic bone diseases and has published widely on the topic in the field's leading scientific journals. His current clinical research focus is on the impact of dietary protein on bone health.

Marottoli, M.D/, MPH is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, an attending physician at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, and Medical Director of the Adler Geriatric Assessment Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Sandra is also certified in Body Pump and Group Power Training classes. Terry O'Hara, CPT works as a personal trainer at Stewart's Personal Training & Nutrition in Guilford, CT. A few years ago, Terry realized that walking and aerobics classes weren't working any more and she needed to revamp her fitness routine to include resistance training. Her studies led her to become a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This training combined with a B.S. in Food Science and Nutrition gives her a unique body of knowledge to draw from when working with her clients. Rebecca Sullivan received her Bachelors of Science and Dietitian certification at the University of Connecticut, in Storrs in 2001. She completed her Masters in Science with a concentration in Dietetics in 2003. Ms. Sullivan worked in Clinical Nutrition from 2003-2006 and then joined the staff at Yale University as a Clinical Research Coordinator for studies investigating the impact of dietary protein on bone health. She is the Research Coordinator for the SPOON (Supplemental Protein to Outsmart Osteoporosis Now) study.
Joyce Walsleben, RN, PhD is the former Director of the NYU Sleep Center and currently Associate Professor in the NYU School of Medicine. She earned her doctorate in biopsychology from the SUNY StonyBrook in 1987 and became board-certified in sleep disorders medicine in 1988. She is a member of several professional organizations, author of many journal articles and book chapters on aspects of sleep as well as a co-author of "A WOMAN'S GUIDE TO SLEEP" published by Crown books in October 2000.
