Autumn is a season followed
immediately
by looking forward to Spring.

I suppose I should find a slightly more Zen-like quote that inspires the ability to be present in the moment, but the truth is that Fall--for me--is filled with busyness. Busy with the start up of school, the stress of transition into new schedules, the yard clean-up, thinking of the impending holiday seasons, and other things that keep me from being fully present in any given moment. And before I know it, it's Winter with its short, cold days and I am looking forward to Spring.
I do love the beauty of Autumn, however, and the transformation to New England's most glorious and unique season. And this year I will endeavor to find that Zen when I can. I am fortunate to be a part of the Women & Family Life Center that works daily to help women and families find comfort and inspiration, and I will take advantage of the offerings in our Fall calendar [link this to calendar] for help.
